OPP report a 22 year old Papineau-Cameron Township man is facing drug possession and driving while drug impaired charges.

This after Mattawa OPP stopped a vehicle yesterday afternoon (Tuesday) just after 3:30 pm.

On top of a November court appearance, the man’s license was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for 7 days.

Meantime, a 24 year old Powassan man is facing charges after OPP were called to a domestic-related incident yesterday.

It’s alleged police were assaulted.

The man is charged with assault police and domestic assault.
