During a recent flight from New York to Prague, former NHL player Jiri Hudler asked a flight attendant for “coke.” She thought he was referring to the soft drink, but Hudler quickly corrected her, saying that he wanted to be served cocaine. When she refused, Hudler threatened to have his friends kill the flight attendant. Hudler, who once won a league-wide award for “sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct,” is also accused of attempting to pee on a food cart and doing whatever cocaine he had on him in the airplane’s bathroom. He has denied the allegations, describing them as “a small incident,” while police are investigating. The 33-year-old is a free agent who played last season for the Dallas Stars. As CBS notes, the free agent remains unsigned and “this incident probably won’t help him much.
