Troops lose in overtime

The Soo Greyhounds scored 43 seconds into overtime to win 2-1 and hand the North Bay Battalion their first loss of the season.

Cam Dineen scored his fourth goal of the season to give the Troops a 1-0 lead in the first period.

Justin Brazeau and Luke Burghardt picked up the assists on the powerplay goal.

The Greyhounds responded in the second, to even the score at 1.

North Bay outshot the Soo 40-29.

The Battalion are idle now until next Thursday, October 5th when they travel to Barrie.
