Another 6-5 comeback victory for the North Bay Battalion over the Sudbury Wolves.

The Troops erased a 5-3 deficit in the third period last night (Wednesday) at Memorial Gardens to force overtime.

That’s when Cam Dineen scored his second goal on the night.

Luke Moncada, Luke Burghardt, Brad Chenier and Adam Thilander also scored in the win.

Goaltender Mat Woroniuk made 27 saves to earn the victory.

The Battalion are now 3-0 to start the season and Coach Stan Butler likes what he’s seeing from his team.

“Even on the bench when it was 5-3, they were confident that they could still find a way to win. That’s a trademark you like from a team, is that you have to find different ways to win games. So far this year we’ve won three games and we’ve won them three different ways,” he says.

The Battalion scored four straight goals in the third period on Sunday afternoon to win 6-5 in Sudbury.

On opening night last Friday, North Bay beat Barrie 5-2.

Next up, the Troops are home to the Soo on Friday night.
