A 34 year old Mississauga man is facing several charges including possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, failing to stop at the scene of an accident and refusing to provide a breath sample.

The charges were laid after an incident Thursday afternoon following a collision at Ski Club Road and O’Brien.

Police say a vehicle that left the scene was reported stolen by Peel Regional Police.

It was later located on Chapais St.

The driver was picked up and charged while travelling on foot.

North Bay Police say several U.S. $50 counterfeit bills have been used at various city stores in recent days. The colouring and texture is noticeably different from a legitimate bill.

North Bay Police are investigating a break in from last weekend at a local business on Seymour St. Four John Deere tractors and 5 Toro snow blowers were grabbed.
