City police report charges have been filed after an investigation into a July break-in to a restaurant on the 700 block of Main East.

A 38 year old North Bay man has been charged with break and enter, possession of property obtained by crime and driving while under suspension.

Meantime, two men from Edmonton are facing fraud over $5,000 charges in North Bay.

City police say in March a local woman began communicating with a man on a dating website.

She was then asked for help with money transfers as he was out of the country.

The woman was defrauded of about 32-thousand dollars.

Police remind the public not to give out personal banking information.

And a search of a Paul Street residence has resulted in charges for two city residents after police seized drugs, money and five knives.

City police say the Street Crime Unit and Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant on Tuesday.

Two people face multiple charges including possession of controlled substance and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
