The price of gas is on the rise in North Bay, by about five cents.

Most fueling pumps now have regular listed just under $1.15 around the city.

Last year at this time local drivers were enjoying gas prices that were below a dollar.

According to the Energy Ministry website, late August and early September 2016 saw regular going for about 99 cents a litre in North Bay.
