North Bay Police are providing more information about a Street Crime Unit investigation we told you about on Monday.

Police say it was believed persons in a Hammond Street residence were in possession of a restricted firearm taken in a break and enter incident.

Members of the Emergency Response Team arrested 4 people following a traffic stop on Fisher Street and a search warrant was executed at that Hammond residence.

Police recovered an imitation firearm, a detachable magazine, prohibited knives, cocaine, opiates and marijuana.

A 26 year old woman, a 32 year old man and a 58 year old male were all charged with possession of prohibited weapons, possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.

Police say due to safety reasons all 4 people located at the traffic stop were arrested, but only 3 are facing charges.
