North Bay Police have updated an investigation and laid additional charges against a 39 year old North Bay woman.

In June she was charged with 4 counts of theft under $5,000.

The charges now include 7 counts plus possession of a controlled substance and 7 counts of possession of property obtained by crime.

Police say they executed a search warrant on Lakeshore Drive and recovered over 100 stolen items including patio furniture, gardening accessories and a small amount of Marijuana.

Also, a 25 year old North Bay man has been charged with assault causing bodily harm, assault police and break and enter.

Police say early Sunday morning a male unknown to the victim forced his way into a residence on Dorothy Street and assaulted the homeowner.

The family locked themselves inside the residence and called police.

Police say they were assaulted during the arrest process.

And North Bay Police have charged a 22 year old city man with break and enter and theft over $5,000.

Police say earlier this month, a former employee of a local business on Imperial Road broke in to that business.

Police say $8,000-$10,000 worth of computer equipment was taken.
