A promotion for Scott Wray.

After leading the Powassan Voodoos to an NOJHL title and a berth in the Dudley Hewitt Cup this past season, Wray has been named an assistant coach of the North Bay Battalion.

He replaces John Dean, who recently took over as head coach of the OJHL Toronto Patriots.

Wray is thankful to the Voodoos organization.  “I have had a very exciting three season with the Voodoos. We have done a lot in a short amount of time, especially coming off this year’s championship. I also want to thank all my players I’ve coached over the past three seasons without them I wouldn’t be going anywhere. This just proves we not only develop players in Powassan but we also develop coaches,” he says.

The Voodoos expect to name the second head coach in team history later this week.
