Troops prospect wins bronze at OHL Gold Cup

The OHL Gold Cup has wrapped up in Kitchener with Battalion prospect Simon Rose (pictured) winning a bronze medal.

The defenceman and Troops’ second overall pick in the OHL Priority Selection scored the game winning goal for Team HEO in the bronze medal game.

Meantime, Team NOHA lost their final game Sunday 4-0 to close out the tournament with an 0-5 record.

The team included seven North Bay AAA Trappers.
