Summer in the Park is gonna be magical on Friday, August 4, when MAGIC! performs opening night of Summer in the Park.
MAGIC! is a Toronto-bred, Los-Angeles-based quartet who scored the song of the summer, “Rude” – a buoyant reggae-pop tune that held the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for six weeks, charted in 41 countries, sold more than ten million singles and boasts over one billion views on VEVO. Now, MAGIC! Is back with 2017’s song of the summer, the smash hit collaboration ‘Girl At Coachella’ with Matoma ft. D.R.A.M. which has already soared past 12 million streams!
In March 2015, out of five nominations, MAGIC! won two Juno Awards; Breakthrough Group of the Year and Single of the Year. Adam Messinger won the Juno Award for Producer of the Year.
Indeed, over the past three years MAGIC! has established itself as a bonafide sensation thanks to its undeniably catchy sound, superlative songwriting, and masterful musicianship. The band features lead vocalist and chief songwriter Nasri Atweh, guitarist Mark Pellim drummer Alex Tanas, and bassist Ben Spivak.
