The future of Chippewa, West Ferris and Widdifield Secondary Schools will be up for discussion again next week.

However, today (Thursday) is an important day for those interested in presenting at the April 18th public meeting.

Written submissions, up to two pages, are due by noon to the Near North Board’s communications officer.

Officials are inviting people who didn’t present at the first meeting or previous presenters with new information.

We previously told you the session would welcome input on the idea of going from three secondary schools to two.

The original staff recommendation looks at going from three schools to one.

Next week’s meeting goes Tuesday night at 6:30 pm at W.J. Fricker Public School on Norman Avenue.
