Three Battalion players are on the NHL Central Scouting final rankings list.

Troops defenceman Brady Lyle is up a few spots to 48th among North American skaters.

He was 53rd in the mid-term rankings.

Fellow blueliner Adam Thilander dropped from 59th in the mid-term rankings, to 96th on the final list.

Previously unranked forward Justin Brazeau is 206th.

He was one of six Battalion players on last fall’s “Players To Watch List”.

North Bay Battalion head coach Stan Butler says the rankings don’t always reflect where players are drafted.

He points out NHL teams have their own scouting departments and these rankings don’t necessarily translate into where players get drafted.

The 2017 NHL draft goes June 23rd and 24th in Chicago.
