Floyd Mayweather Jr. announced this week that he will officially come out of retirement to go head-to-head with UFC fighter Conor McGregor. “I’m coming out of retirement just to fight Conor McGregor… fight me in June… if you want to fight, sign the paperwork,“ Mayweather says in footage recorded at a recent stop on his U.K. tour. The boxer goes on to pressure the UFC to get the deal done. “We’re not here to cry about money,” he declares. “I’m tired of all this crying about money and talking about you want to fight. You blowing smoke up everybody’s a**. If you want to fight, sign the paperwork. Let’s do it.“ As Rolling Stone points out, UFC president Dana White recently told ESPN that “no deal is even close to being done“ between the fighters.
