The North Bay Battalion begin a busy few days with a home game tonight against Sarnia.

This is the 2nd meeting of the season with the Sting, with North Bay winning earlier this season in Sarnia.

The Troops are coming off a tough weekend.

They lost in a shootout to Kitchener, in a game that included controversy over a goal that was awarded to the Rangers on video review.

The Battalion also lost by a goal to Peterborough.

Coach Stan Butler was asked about his teams effort of late and says given the players the team is missing he can’t really fault the group.

But, he says some teams know how to win and some teams don’t and sometimes this team struggles in that area.

Butler says it’s up to the leadership group to make sure team morale is at a high level.

He says the team is ready tactically and technically, but needs to be ready emotionally and mentally, as well

That’s where the leadership group comes in.

Butler admits it is harder though with veterans like Captain Riley Bruce and Cam Dineen not in the lineup.

The Troops are also without Brady Lyle and Eric Allair.

Tomorrow North Bay travels to Mississauga and Sunday they host Sault Ste Marie.

Broadcast time tonight is 6:55 pm on Country 600 CKAT.
