Snow depth remains above average for this time of the year in the area.

It ranges from 34 per cent above normal in Chisholm to 54 per cent above the average in North Bay.

Water content in the snow is also above average at readings stations in Corbeil, North Bay and Chisholm by between 2-36 %.

Still, the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority Water Resources specialist says it’s too soon to say what the spring freshet will look like.
