Local connection to the upcoming X-Games

North Bay Snowboarder Tyler Nicholson has been invited to compete in the X-Games in the new year.

He’s one of five Canadians, and only 14 competitors to get an invite to the Slopestyle event.

The X-Games go January 24th to 26th, 2017 in Aspen, Colorado.

Meantime, Nicholson competes in the DEW TOUR in Breckenridge, Colorado in early December.

It’s another invite only event that kicks off the 2016/17 World Dew Tour dates.
