The Nipissing Lakers women’s hockey team continues to hold down the number 8 spot in the national “U Sports” rankings.

The Lakers have a record of 8-1 after winning 4-1 over Laurentian last weekend.

They play twice this coming weekend.

On Friday, Nipissing hosts the University of Guelph, who is ranked fourth in Canada with an 8-1-1 record.

The Lakers also entertain Brock on Saturday.
