An assault complaint at a local high school earlier this month has led to charges for a young person.

North Bay Police say two students were allegedly assaulted by another student on the morning of Thursday, November 3rd.

Both victims suffered non-life threatening injuries.

An arrest was made Thursday, November 10th.

In an email statement to our newsroom police say, “In accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act, the North Bay Police Service will not be releasing any information that may lead to the identification of the young person accused of committing these assaults. The accused was released from custody with a court date.”

The investigation is ongoing.
