The Council Committee meeting tonight (Monday) will include plenty of budget talk.

One item is water and waste water rates for 2017.

A staff report includes a sample bill with proposed rates.

It shows a 60-40 fixed/variable rate could go up between $2.17 a month for 14 cubic meters to $2.32 for 20 cubic meters of water.

A 50-50 fixed/variable rate could see a 31 cent decrease for 14 cubic meters up to a $2.62 increase per month for 20 cubic meters.

Other items on the agenda are the water and wastewater capital and operating budgets along with the overall 2018 to 2026 Capital Forecast plan.

A couple rezoning requests, on Lakeshore and Cholette Street will also be discussed.
