North Bay Parry Sound Health Unit officials are recommending area residents get their flu shot and there’s plenty of clinics lined up into next month.

There are over a dozen flu vaccination clinics taking place all around the region.

The first one is today (Monday) in South River from 2 pm to 3:30 pm at Chalmers United Church.

The next one goes Saturday in Sturgeon Falls.

Here in North Bay and in Parry Sound, officials say appointments are available by contacting the Health Unit.

There are also clinics taking place next month in Callander, Burk’s Falls, Corbeil, Mattawa and a host of other communities too.
