A new board member is being welcomed to Invest North Bay.

Officials say President of Gin-Cor Industries Luc Stang brings a wealth of international business experience and a regional perspective to the Board.

His appointment fills the vacant seat left by former Board member Kevin Hutchison, who is pursuing new ways to continue his service to the community.

“I am appreciative of the opportunity to have served on the Invest North Bay Board. My brother and I are especially proud of the Baylor project as it fostered thousands of meaningful and genuine conversations about our collective future. We remain grateful to students and faculty at Baylor for this incredible gift, and to the people of North Bay for sharing their voice and vision,” said Hutchison.

“On behalf of the City of North Bay, I would like to thank Kevin for his commitment to our city and Invest North Bay” said Mayor Al McDonald. “Kevin and Tim spearheaded the Baylor project which was a tremendous gift to our community and will serve as the basis for future planning. We truly appreciate his contribution and on-going championing of our City.”

Chair of Invest North Bay, George Burton remarked “I would like to thank Kevin for his dedication and efforts towards making North Bay a vibrant community. Kevin along with Tim and the team at Baylor University were instrumental in gathering insight and benchmarking community feedback and we look forward to building on the considerable work completed to date. It has been our pleasure having Kevin serve on the Invest North Bay Board and we wish him continued success.”
