The North Bay Battalion surrendered five goals in under seven minutes during the opening period and lost 7-4 to Hamilton last night (Thursday).

Battalion Head coach Stan Butler says the most important thing is to move on and prepare for their weekend road trip.

The Troops are in Ottawa tomorrow then Kingston on Sunday.

Butler says consistency is the key to victory going forward.

Brett McKenzie had a three point night with a goal, his 6th of the season, and two assists.

Cam Dineen scored twice for North Bay while Jacob Ball scored his first goal of the season.
