After scoring their first road win on the weekend the North Bay Battalion look for their first home ice victory tonight against the Owen Sound Attack.

The Troops played the Attack twice in the pre-season with each team winning once.

Owen Sound comes into the game with a 1-3 record, but Battalion Head Coach Stan Butler says now that the Attack’s number one goalie Michael McNiven is back from Montreal’s camp, they may get on a roll.

He expects the Attack to be a top 3 or 4 team in the west and jokingly says he would have preferred McNiven not come back to the OHL just yet.

North Bay is looking to even their record at 2-2 tonight, catch the game on Country 600 CKAT starting at 6:55 pm.

Meantime, Butler says he’s pleased with the play of goalie Brent Moran, who was acquired in the summer in a trade with Flint.

He has played in all 3 Battalion games to start the year.

The Troops start a stretch of 3 games in five days tonight.

They also have a road game to Sault Ste. Marie on Saturday and a Thanksgiving day matinee on Monday against Niagara.
