The Nipissing Lakers men’s hockey team recently held a fundraiser at Osprey Links in Callander.

110 golfers took part and 10 Thousand Dollars was raised.

Coach Mike McParland says the money raised will help the university provide an outstanding athletic and academic experience for the student athletes playing hockey for the Lakers.

Skaters Edge Source For Sports owner Paul Maclean which helped put on the event says we should support the university and its athletics as Nipissing is a driving force of our community and it deserves our support.

Season tickets for both the men’s and women’s games are now available at the Gardens box office.
