A unique fundraiser for the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity is back this fall.

They’re holding the 2nd annual Amazing Race on October 1st.

Spokesperson Ellen Faulkner says they’re hoping to get 21 teams with four members per team. She explains what they’ll be doing that day.

“They have 10 locations that they have to go to and they have to perform a task at each location.”

She says after completing the task, they’ll receive a clue on where to go for the next task.

Each team will be fundraising for the event, the minimum donation is $100 per person.

The person who raises the most money will get a 40” TV donated by Best Buy and CUPE Local 122.
