Dennis ChippaNorth Bay’s Dennis Chippa is being invested into the Order of Ontario.

That announcement today (Wednesday) by the province, which says Chippa is a highly respected community leader and humanitarian, having changed the social fabric of his community.

His extensive volunteer efforts have improved the lives of countless low-income families and homeless men and women living in Ontario’s North.

An investiture ceremony takes place at Queen’s Park on January 20th.

2016 marks the 30th anniversary the Order of Ontario.
