North Bay PoliceCity police are reporting a North Bay man faces several charges including weapons-related counts after a couple incidents yesterday (Tuesday).

It’s alleged a man went into a downtown business before 10 am and threatened an employee, who didn’t know the man, then left the scene on foot.

It’s further alleged before 10:30 am a man walked into a residence seven blocks away and pulled out a kitchen knife he had in his possession after a male resident, who didn’t know him, repeatedly told him to leave.

The resident was able to defend himself and another resident in the home with a bat and convinced the accused to leave.

An arrest was made between Fifth and Sixth Avenues with police seizing a kitchen knife and prohibited flick knife.

A 41 year old man is charged with uttering threats, carrying a concealed weapon, weapons dangerous, possession of a prohibited weapon and six breach counts.
