According to James Young, owner of Melbourne’s rock and roll Cherry Bar and huge contributor to the Australian rock scene, a Guns N’ Roses reunion might be closer than we think. Slash announced last week that after 2 decades of fighting, he and long time “frenemy” Axl Rose had finally buried the hatchet, “it was long overdue” said Slash. According to Young, not only have the two become friends again, they’re planning to headline Melbourne’s Soundwave festival next year. There’s been no word from the band yet as to whether or not the rumour is true… if so, it could mean the reformation of the ORIGINAL 1987 ‘Appetite for Destruction’ lineup of  Steven Adler, Izzy Stradlin, Duff McKagen, Slash and Axl Rose.
