A fire at the Kabuki House Restaurant on Main Street West this morning

The North Bay Fire Department says the building has been destroyed

The fire department got the call around 130 this morning and all fire departments were all involved in putting out the blaze.

A burglar alarm triggered by the fire enabled city police to contact the fire department and the fire department says they were to contain the fire so no neighbouring buildings were impacted.

No word on cause or damage.

The fire prevention officer will be on the scene today.
