The North Bay Battalion start a 3 game road trip to wrap up the regular season tonight in Peterborough.

The Troops will be in Kingston tomorrow and Ottawa on Sunday to wrap up the regular season.

The Petes have beaten North Bay 2 of the previous 3 times they’ve met this season.

Assistant coach Adam Dennis says the team wants to play well heading into the playoffs.

“We want to create some good habits going into the playoffs. That’s what this weekend is all about. We need to put some good games together and make sure we feel good going into the post season,” he says.

Dennis says they will be fighting for points all weekend long.

“We’re competitive guys and we want to finish as high as we can. We’re heading into this weekend trying to finish as high a seed as possible,” he says.
The Troops are 6th in the east and can finish anywhere from a tie for 4th to 8th.

They trail 5th place Oshawa by 5 points and lead Ottawa and Mississauga who are tied for 7th by 3 points.

Broadcast time tonight on Country 600 is 7 pm.
