The Cranberries lead singer and front woman Dolores O’Riordan has reportedly passed away suddenly at age 46.

According to O’Riordan’s publicist:

“The lead singer with the Irish band The Cranberries who has recently been performing with a band called D.A.R.K, was staying in London for a short recording session. No further details are available at this time.”

The Irish rock star rose to fame with the Cranberries in the early 90’s, achieving global success with hit singles ‘Linger’ and ‘Zombie’.

At this time there are no further details concerning the cause of her death.
