There was plenty of Christmas cheer at Twiggs on Fraser Street this morning (Friday).

The KiSS 100.5 Carmine Ricciuti Christmas special was held from 6 am to 9 am and by the time they signed off the air, thousands of dollars had been raised for the North Bay Santa Fund.

“It’s very preliminary, but we can officially knock off from that goal you have for the Santa Fund… $32,640!”
exclaimed morning show host Kevin Oschefski. “Thank you North Bay and area, your generosity is amazing, and Merry Christmas.”

The goal for the Santa Fund this year is $140,000.

Upwards of 700 baskets, including a holiday meal and gifts, will be packed next Friday night at the Fort Chippewa Barracks.

Delivery goes the next day.

Financial donations can still be dropped off at the Nugget on Worthington all next week or online at santafund.ca
