Blowing snow advisory for the North Bay area lifted

(1:37pm UPDATE) OPP advise Hwy 17 West from Sturgeon Falls to Sudbury is back open.

The roadway was closed for about three and a half hours because of the weather conditions.

Mid-morning, OPP tweeted videos (below) showing road conditions on Highway 17 West and 11 North, reminding drivers to slow down and be patient during bad weather.

They also say let plows do their work and drive safely.

A blowing snow advisory is no longer in effect for the North Bay area.
