A ceremony was held Wednesday at Nipissing Transition House to remember the 14 women who were killed at Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal 28 year ago.

There is now a plaque of each woman who died on that terrible day.

The plaques include a photo and a short biography of each woman who lost her life.

During the ceremony different women in the community lit a candle and placed a white rose under each plaque.
