Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi is vowing the massacre at a Sufi mosque in the Sinai Peninsula will not go unpunished.
El-Sisi offered his condolences to the victims and families of the 235 people killed and 130 wounded when attackers set off a bomb and opened fire on worshippers at Friday prayers.
The president has declared three days of national morning and went on T-V to tell the nation that the suffering of the victims will only add to his government’s determination to combat terrorism. (10)
