A win for the Nipissing Lakers men’s hockey team in a rare Tuesday day game at Memorial Gardens.

They tripled the count on Laurentian 6-2 with former North Bay Battalion forward Brett Hargrave leading the way.

The North Bay native scored 3 goals with Eric Robichaud, Lucas Brown and Steve Deeg chipped in with singles.

The Lakers broke a 1-1 tie with two unanswered goals in the 2nd and outscored the visitors 3-1 in the third.

The Lakers outshot Laurentian 43-21.

The Lakers are on the road this weekend for games at Brock on Friday and Guelph on Saturday.
