Could this be a case of poor planning or is this a lawsuit waiting to happen?  A San Francisco man is suing a restaurant because their ghost pepper burger caused him to go into a two-week coma.  Sean Stout ate the restaurant’s XXX Burger and the ghost peppers burned a hole in his esophagus. He claims the restaurant did not offer him any ice cream or milk to aid his heartburn.

Stout suffered tunnel vision, nausea, excessive sweating and stomach aches before he went to the hospital for surgery. He spent 23 days in the hospital before being discharged with a gastric tube. He’s suing for negligence, product liability, gross negligence, infliction of emotional distress and loss of consortium.
