Council meets tonight (Tuesday) and the Dionne Quints home is once again a major focus.

Along with two scheduled public presentations, council will vote on a motion of reconsideration.

That involves a plan to study the idea of keeping the home here as a static display.

Council has yet to vote on the original motion, which is to move the home and some artifacts to Strong Township, with some artifacts going to the Callander Bay Museum and Harris Learning Library.

Also at Council tonight, there are reports coming forward on the King’s Landing Multi-Use Pier and Breakwater and the Downtown Waterfront Master Plan.

Meantime, the committee meeting of Council will look at an increase in arena rates.

A staff report proposes a two year phase-in with adult and youth prime and non-prime rates.
