A couple of issues dominate when it comes to public presentations scheduled for tonight’s Council meeting.

The Dionne Quints home is the focus of three presentations while casino is the topic for three more.

Last week a council committee supported the plan to move the Dionne Quints home to Strong Township with some artifacts going to the Callander Bay Museum and the Harris Learning Library.

Full council still needs to vote on the issue.

As for the casino, the OLG announced in December that Gateway Casinos and Entertainment won the northern bundle, including the planned gaming facility in North Bay.

A couple of councillor motions are also on the agenda tonight.

One is on the Operational Review Committee while the other is on Energy Costs.
