The much anticipated sequel to the 1996 film Trainspotting debuted online yesterday, giving fans a look at the movie’s four stars 20 years later. The 40-second promo shows a train passing by, then reveals the film’s original heroin addicts–Spud (Ewen Bremner), Renton (Ewan McGregor), Sick Boy (Jonny Lee Miller), and Begbie (Robert Carlyle)–standing on the far side of the tracks with serious looks on their faces. The clip is scored to Iggy Pop’s “Lust for Life,“ one of the key songs used in the original movie. The new movie, also knows as T2, is helmed by original Trainspotting director Danny Boyle. It comes out in theaters on January 27, 2017.
